Job Title: Testing & Commissioning Engineer:


Ensures 13.8–380 kV substation electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations, verifying performance, addressing issues, and ensuring reliable, safe operation before handover.

  • Inspect and verify installation of equipment, cabling, and protection systems.
  • Conduct primary and secondary injection tests, insulation resistance tests, transformer turns ratio (TTR) tests, and functional tests.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning and startup.
  • Work closely with project engineers, site managers, and contractors to ensure smooth commissioning.
  • Prepare detailed commissioning reports, testing logs, and as-built records.
  • Identify and diagnose faults in high-voltage equipment and protection systems, perform systematic tests to isolate issues, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and re-verify system performance.


Qualifications & Experiences:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Power Systems Engineering.

7 years in testing and commissioning of high-voltage substations (13.8 kV–380 kV).
