Software Engineer and Data Analyst

Act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and Data Analyst for a fast-paced mission-focused team, designing and integrating solutions that enable high-priority operations. Collaborate closely with analysts, operators, and other engineers to integrate AI/ML technologies and develop rapid prototypes supporting the mission.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements from stakeholders and determine the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions.
• Develop automated analysis and triage across various collection techniques.

Required Skills

• Experience with platforms, machine learning, and AI tooling.
• Production-grade software development experience in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience deploying and managing production services in a fast-paced environment.
• Service containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).

Nice To Have

• Experience developing with agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
• Experience with additional programming languages (Java, C).
• Experience prototyping web applications with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue).
• Analyzing cyber security-related data sets (Network Traffic, OS events).
• Familiarity with signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with advanced security operations capabilities and operations.

Experience Required: 3 years with Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 7 years without degree

Location: Columbia, MD

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Salary Range: $138,000 - $163,000
