Overview:

As the Individual and Unit Coach at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will specialise in developing the technical abilities and individual behaviours of Academy players across multiple age groups. You will play a key role in delivering individual development programmes aligned with the club’s game model, supporting both player progression and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management

• Collaborate with the Head of Individual Development to deliver the Academy’s Individual Development Model
• Support the planning and delivery of monthly training programmes across age groups with clear development objectives
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of individual development practices within the Academy

Individual Development and Coaching

• Deliver high-quality individual and small group coaching sessions focused on technical development and behaviour
• Design and deliver position-specific and unit-based training aligned to the Qadsiah Game Model
• Support players across all Academy age groups (U13–U21) in their individual development journeys
• Provide targeted feedback during team training sessions to support individual player progression

Analysis and Performance Support

• Lead the design and delivery of video analysis sessions for individual and small group development
• Maintain and develop a library of training sessions and best practice content using club platforms (IterPro, Hudl, SportsCode)
• Collaborate with the Performance Analysis department to enhance player development resources

Collaboration and Player Development

• Contribute to Individual Development Plans and player performance reviews
• Work closely with multidisciplinary staff across the Academy to support holistic player development
• Engage with coaching staff to ensure alignment between individual and team objectives

Qualifications

Desirable:

• AFC Pro License or UEFA equivalent
• FIFA Guardian safeguarding qualification
• Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• AFC A License or UEFA equivalent
• Proven experience coaching elite academy players
• Strong understanding of individual player development across different age groups
• Ability to deliver structured and targeted individual coaching sessions
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage players effectively
• Proactive and structured approach to problem-solving
• Comfortable working within a new cultural and professional environment
• Fluency in English

Desirable:

• Experience using performance and analysis platforms such as IterPro, Hudl, and SportsCode
• Multilingual capability, including Arabic or Spanish
• Previous experience as a professional footballer Experience working in the Middle East
• Strong leadership and teamwork experience
