My client is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to lead the creative production function within our Marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on design delivery. You will take ownership of bringing our brand and marketing campaigns to life across every customer touchpoint, ensuring creative concepts are executed consistently and effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the adaptation and production of retail marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, e-commerce, email, and in-store.
- Provide art direction and creative oversight for campaign rollouts to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
- Design and produce creative assets for websites, digital advertising, social media, CRM campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Create engaging visual content such as motion graphics, animations, video assets, infographics, and branded content to support customer acquisition and retention.
- Design and adapt in-store point-of-sale materials, window graphics, signage, promotional displays, packaging, and other retail marketing collateral.
- Produce print-ready artwork and oversee asset preparation, ensuring all files meet supplier specifications and production standards.
- Create internal communications, training materials, presentations, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding assets.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, photographers, printers, and production suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Support new store openings, events, partnerships, and brand activations through the creation of impactful promotional materials.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, templates, and asset libraries to ensure consistency across all communications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years' graphic design experience, ideally within a retail, consumer, e-commerce, agency, or in-house brand environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with motion design capability using After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of print production processes and digital design.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality and accuracy across a high volume of creative work.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and the ability to translate commercial objectives into compelling creative.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
- Strong organisation and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
