Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We're partnering with an exciting Media & Data company in Germany that is looking to bring on a Freelance AI/ML Engineer to support one of its growing engineering teams.

📍 Location: Remote (Europe-based candidates only)

📅 Contract Length: 12 months

🚀 Start Date: ASAP

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, building and maintaining production-ready AI/ML applications
• Developing and supporting scalable backend services for AI-powered products
• Building high-volume, production-grade systems
• Developing and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions
• Designing and implementing Agentic AI architectures
• Writing and maintaining robust end-to-end tests
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver AI solutions into production

Essential experience:

• Strong commercial experience with LLMs and Generative AI
• Python
• PyTorch
• GCP
• MLOps
• Experience building and deploying real-world AI applications
• Previous backend engineering experience before moving into AI/ML is highly desirable
