About The Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own and drive key initiatives at the intersection of AI and our retail platform. You'll work directly with engineering, design, customers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define product strategy, and deliver solutions that create measurable value for retailers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating with significant autonomy, thrives in small teams, and is excited about applying AI to real-world business problems.

What You'll Do

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for critical areas of a retail POS platform
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality customer experiences
  • Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points, and emerging opportunities
  • Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product requirements and priorities
  • Use data, experimentation, and customer feedback to guide decision-making
  • Identify and champion opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into products and internal workflows
  • Lead product discovery, define success metrics, and measure outcomes after launch
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts while maintaining a bias toward action and delivery

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience shipping software products
  • Demonstrated ownership of products or major product areas from concept through launch
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and business stakeholders
  • Experience gathering customer feedback and turning insights into product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make sound product decisions with limited oversight.

Preferred

  • Experience with retail technology, point-of-sale systems, payments, commerce, inventory, or related domains
  • Experience building or integrating AI-powered features and workflows
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or generative AI product development
  • Experience in B2B SaaS environments
  • Technical background or ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams
  • You build things with AI for fun

Success in This Role

In your first year, you'll:

  • Develop a deep understanding of retailer workflows and customer needs
  • Deliver meaningful product improvements that drive adoption and business impact
  • Help shape the company's AI strategy and identify practical applications for AI across the platform
  • Become a trusted partner to engineering and business leadership
  • Operate as a key decision-maker within a highly autonomous product organization

Why This Role

  • Small, highly collaborative team
  • Significant ownership and influence over product direction
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of retail technology and AI
  • Ability to move quickly, ship meaningful work, and see direct customer impact

What we Offer

  • Opportunity to build software that powers real-world commerce at scale
  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
  • Strong emphasis on engineering quality and career growth

Salary: 90-130k Base + Bonus

Location: Hybrid, based in Provo, Utah 2-3 days in the Office
