Senior Agentic AI Engineer

We're partnering with a fast-growing AI consultancy that's delivering cutting-edge AI solutions for clients across Australia. As demand continues to grow, they're looking for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to help design, build and deploy intelligent AI applications for enterprise customers across multiple industries.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work with the latest AI technologies, collaborate directly with clients, and have genuine input into architecture, technical direction and delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Design, build and deploy production-ready Agentic AI applications for enterprise clients.
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, planning and automating complex business workflows.
• Build scalable Python APIs and backend services.
• Work across the AWS AI stack, including Amazon Bedrock and related AWS services.
• Use Kiro to accelerate AI-assisted software development and engineering productivity.
• Design and implement RAG solutions, AI workflows and intelligent automation platforms.
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.

What we're looking for

• Commercial experience building and deploying AI or Generative AI applications.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience working with AWS, including Amazon Bedrock or similar cloud AI services.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications, Agentic AI solutions or RAG systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, backend architecture and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Previous consulting or professional services experience is highly regarded.
