Indexed description

We are looking for an AI Technology Specialist to join our Private Debt team in Copenhagen. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about applying agentic AI, machine learning, automation, and modern software development to real-world decision-making processes.

You will work directly with investment professionals to design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents and applications that improve how investments are sourced, analysed, and monitored. Rather than operating as a traditional data science function, you will be embedded within the team, gaining a deep understanding of workflows and translating business challenges into scalable technology solutions.

Your responsibilities will include developing AI agents, LLM-based workflows, data pipelines, and analytical tools that automate repetitive tasks, extract insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data, and support decision-making across the investment lifecycle. Use cases may include document intelligence, information extraction, workflow automation, predictive analytics, risk monitoring, and knowledge management.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy, owning the full lifecycle of AI initiatives - from identifying opportunities and designing solutions to development, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI and automation tools across the investment lifecycle, including origination, screening, underwriting support, Investment Committee material generation, and portfolio monitoring
  • Design AI-driven solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability of investment workflows
  • Build or support tools for automated analysis of investment materials, financial statements, and investment memoranda
  • Support the drafting and structuring of Investment Committee materials using AI-assisted workflows
  • Enhance portfolio monitoring capabilities through automated data extraction, anomaly detection, and early-warning systems
  • Work closely with investment professionals to embed AI tools into day-to-day decision-making processes
  • Evaluate and implement external AI solutions and build internal prototypes where needed
  • Ensure solutions are robust, explainable, and aligned with investment risk and governance standards

Qualifications

  • Great technical background in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, or applied automation
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, MLOps or applied machine learning in real-world workflows
  • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured financial data
  • Ability to translate investment and credit processes into scalable technical solutions
  • Current technology stack is based on Microsoft Azure, SQL Server Management Studio, Python, PyCharm or Visual Studio Code, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and Copilot
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related quantitative field, with great academic performance
  • Interest in financial markets and investments is a positive, but experience from the financial services industry is not a requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
