Senior Lead Conversational Designer – Generative AI & LLM Experiences

AGM Tech Solutions is partnering with a direct client to find a Senior Lead Conversational Designer who can help shape the future of AI-powered user experiences.

This isn't your typical chatbot design role. We need someone who has designed and scaled conversational experiences where AI dynamically generates responses — not predetermined flows. You'll define how LLMs behave, sound, and respond at scale, balancing creativity with consistency, safety, and business goals.

🔹 What you'll do: – Design conversation strategies for probabilistic, LLM-powered systems – Build prompts, guardrails, and response frameworks that improve consistency and quality – Partner with Product, UX, Engineering, and AI Platform teams to shape AI strategy – Evaluate and optimize LLM performance through testing and iteration – Present recommendations directly to senior stakeholders and executive leadership

🔹 What you bring: – 8+ years in Conversational Design, UX Writing, Content Design, or related fields – 3–5+ years designing conversational experiences specifically with Generative AI/LLMs – Deep understanding of deterministic vs. probabilistic conversational design – Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Meta Llama, or similar (a plus) – Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

📍 Location: Alpharetta, GA preferred. Open to candidates in NJ/NY, and exceptional remote candidates considered.
