This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building and deploying real-world AI applications. The work includes retrieval systems, agent-based workflows, large language models and production integrations across complex enterprise environments.

Projects move quickly from concept to deployment. Engineers are expected to own outcomes, contribute directly to code and help deliver systems that solve genuine business problems.

The role

You will work in small teams designing, building and deploying production AI applications for enterprise clients.

The work includes:

• Building AI-powered applications and services
• Designing retrieval pipelines over structured and unstructured business data
• Creating agent-based workflows and orchestration layers
• Integrating AI into production systems and operational processes
• Building APIs, backend services and supporting infrastructure
• Working directly with stakeholders to translate business problems into practical technical solutions

What you need

• Strong Python development experience
• Experience building backend systems, APIs or microservices
• Hands-on experience with large language models and modern AI tooling
• Experience with retrieval systems, embeddings or vector search
• Experience building AI systems used by real users
• Cloud experience across AWS, GCP or Azure
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to ship working software
• Minimum 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Comfortable writing and debugging code without relying entirely on coding assistants

Senior +

• Strong hands-on engineer
• Experience delivering systems end-to-end
• Commercial experience building or deploying AI solutions
• Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders
• Own systems and technical direction end-to-end
• Make architecture decisions and guide implementation
• Strong production experience with AI systems
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards
