Mid Level Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer, AI/ML – Mid-Level

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Onsite)

We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer with AI/ML experience to help build and deploy scalable machine learning solutions for commercial software applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strong software engineering work paired with hands-on model development and production support.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and API development
• Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., GPT, GitHub Copilot) for development, prototyping, and code quality
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain for building workflow-driven, context-aware applications
• Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized environments is a plus

Preferred Experience

• Experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience deploying machine learning models into production
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, or forecasting
• Comfortable working with large datasets and collaborating with cross-functional team
