Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for an innovative Technical AI Lead to spearhead the development and expansion of intelligent technology solutions across the organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical leader who can bridge the gap between emerging AI technologies and real-world business applications. This role requires someone who can independently drive projects from ideation through deployment, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and establish scalable approaches for integrating AI into everyday workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, automate processes, and enhance decision-making.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, including discovery, solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
• Build and launch AI-powered applications, automation tools, internal platforms, and intelligent workflows that deliver measurable business value.
• Develop scalable AI solutions utilizing modern language models, retrieval technologies, automation frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
• Create foundational capabilities that enable teams to securely access, leverage, and operationalize company data through AI-driven solutions.
• Establish best practices around AI development, testing, monitoring, reliability, and responsible implementation.
• Design processes for evaluating AI performance, improving system quality, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of AI tools through enablement, documentation, and ongoing support.
• Stay current with advancements in artificial intelligence, software development practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and deploying AI-driven applications in production environments.
• Strong experience building solutions involving large language models, AI agents, automation, retrieval systems, or intelligent workflows.
• Hands-on expertise with modern AI development concepts including:
• LLM integrations
• Prompt development
• Context optimization
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI workflow orchestration
• Evaluation and performance measurement
• Strong software engineering background with experience building full-stack applications and scalable integrations.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern application development practices.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Experience managing projects independently and driving initiatives from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of product development principles, user adoption, and measuring business impact.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Background working in financial services, enterprise software, compliance-focused industries, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience joining or building teams in early-stage or high-growth companies.
• Previous experience leading AI transformation initiatives or establishing AI development practices.
• Familiarity with modern data ecosystems and platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, or similar technologies.
• Experience designing systems that leverage enterprise data sources for AI-powered applications.
