About the Role: We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic Lead Data Scientist to lead our growing team. You will be responsible for defining the overall AI strategy for delivering a roadmap, leading the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions, and mentoring a team of talented data scientists. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall AI strategy for a complete line of business roadmap
• Lead a team of data scientists to execute and deliver the roadmap
• Oversee the development and implementation of machine learning models for multiple use-cases
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI innovation
• Measure and communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives to the organization
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI and machine learning, ensuring Banque Misr remains a leader in the field

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science with 2+ years of leadership experience
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing of complex AI applications
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
• Deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Significant relevant experience in the applied AI in the financial sector or other relevant lines of business
• Ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic environment

Desirable Skills:

• M.Sc. in related field is a plus
• Understands trade-offs between model accuracy, business impact, and deployment speed
• Experience with MLOps principles and tools
• Experience with different data platforms
