This role is a full‑time position focused on designing and delivering intelligent capabilities for Lenovo’s hybrid cloud platform. The ideal candidate is an experienced AI/ML engineer who enjoys solving complex problems at scale and collaborating closely with product and engineering partners. The role has an international scope and works in close collaboration with global teams in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop intelligent features for Lenovo’s hybrid cloud platform using machine learning, data analytics, and generative AI techniques.
  • Build and apply models for classification, anomaly detection, time‑series forecasting, and natural language processing across platform use cases.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable, user‑centric AI solutions.
  • Contribute to the full AI lifecycle, including experimentation, iteration, evaluation, and continuous improvement of models.
  • Leverage Lenovo’s data and cloud infrastructure to enable data ingestion, labeling, cleaning, training, and inference workflows.
  • Implement robust evaluation frameworks to ensure models meet accuracy, reliability, and performance expectations.
  • Support deployment of AI solutions into production environments with a focus on stability and scalability.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on AI/ML best practices and implementation approaches.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or applied machine learning roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python; working knowledge of Java or Go is considered an advantage.
  • Hands‑on experience in at least three of the following areas: data modeling, time‑series forecasting, classification, anomaly detection, natural language processing, MLOps, or agentic AI.
  • Experience with data wrangling and analysis using tools such as SQL and Python.
  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end machine learning systems with a strong focus on data‑driven evaluation.
  • Experience deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting AI systems on public or private cloud infrastructure is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent English reading and communication ability, and a proactive mindset for exploring and applying emerging technologies.

You will report to SSG (Solutions Services Group) organization structure.
