- Solution engineering: Help translate business and client requirements into efficient technical solutions, leading the research and validation of new technologies and libraries to solve complex problems.
- Knowledge Sharing: Embrace a culture of high-quality code, continuous learning, and clear documentation to remove single-person dependencies.
- Quality & Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring for systems to ensure performance against KPIs, tackle quality problems and report on technical progress and risks.
- Internal Collaboration: Operate as a technical contact on projects and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
Who you are
- Systematic & Conscientious: You apply a logical and systematic approach to problem-solving, with the persistence to see tasks through to completion. You place a high value on security, quality, and good governance in your work.
- Collaborative & Clear Communicator: You are a skilled communicator and an attentive listener, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You enjoy working as part of a team and seeing how your work influences broader activities. [OR consider the impact of your work on others.]
- Responsive & Composed: You can respond quickly and effectively to problems or urgent situations, maintaining a calm and focused approach to find a resolution.
- Innovative & Autonomous: You are comfortable working with a degree of autonomy and proactively explore new ideas. You have a forward-looking perspective and an interest in testing new procedures to improve how we work.
What you’ll need
- Proficient programming and IT skills, across a broad tech stack
- Experience in software development, including end to end project implementation
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
