For someone already leading engineering teams who wants a bigger hand in technical strategy, this role offers exactly that. You'd take on leadership of multiple software development teams, with a genuine mandate to make AI-native engineering, including agentic AI tools, a standard part of how the organisation builds software.

The role:

→ Provide people and organisational leadership across multiple software development teams.

→ Drive SaaS and cloud strategy to maximise scalability and time to market.

→ Establish AI-native engineering as a standard and make the productivity gains measurable.

→ Ensure quality, security and regulatory compliance standards are consistently met.

→ Align product requirements with business objectives and report to executive management.

What you'll need:

→ Extensive experience in software development leadership, ideally in SaaS and cloud environments.

→ Strong technical grounding in SaaS architecture, cloud/distributed systems, security and quality automation.

→ Proven track record driving AI adoption in engineering teams, ideally with hands-on experience using agentic AI tools.

→ Deep experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Lean principles, scaled across multiple teams.

→ Fluent English and very good German.
