About Us
XCaliber is the operating platform for healthcare and health tech organizations, enabling real-time decision-making and autonomous workflows. Our platform powers healthcare-specific copilots through three core products: an Interoperability Gateway (out-of-the-box access to Epic, athena, Elation, eCW, and more), a Healthcare Data Fabric for clean, connected data, and Agentic Workflows for automation at scale. The result: faster integrations, lower costs, and improved patient care.
What You Will Work On
As part of our core engineering team, you will:
- Design and build intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows for real-time healthcare applications at scale.
- Develop and maintain core platform components such as agent memory, multi-modal tools, MCPs, prompt modules and knowledge retrieval systems.
- Implement and refine agent evaluation and observability frameworks for performance tuning and adaptability.
- Work with open-source frameworks and SDKs to extend our Agent Builder Platform.
- Engineer robust ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured clinical data to prepare it for agent consumption.
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Go, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph
- Experience integrating agents with – Vector databases (e.g., FAISS, OpenSearch), Graph stores (e.g., Neo4j) & Analytical storage systems (e.g., Apache Iceberg)
- Familiarity with distributed systems and orchestration tools such as Ray and Temporal.
- Experience in building hybrid retrievers and query engines to handle large-scale analytical and semantic queries.
