• Remote work readiness: You can work independently, manage time effectively, and have reliable internet access to meet role expectations.
• Interest in AI and digital communities: A curiosity about AI, technology, or online community ecosystems is important. Prior experience with online community or social media engagement is a plus.
• Collaboration: You can work with cross-functional teams and follow established processes and guidelines.
• Education: Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in communications, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.

At Shaip by Ubiquity, we connect skilled language and cultural contributors with leading AI research labs and data companies. Our platform helps train and improve advanced AI models by enabling high-quality, culturally aware training data and scalable community engagement. In this Community Growth Intern role, we’re looking for an intern to help strengthen our relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders by supporting day-to-day community engagement. You’ll help maintain a positive, informative presence across relevant online platforms, support growth activities that increase awareness and participation, and contribute to internal reporting on community activity. We’ll work with you to help turn feedback and community signals into actionable insights for our team.

Role Responsibilities

In the Community Growth Intern role, we will support you to help grow and engage Shaip’s community of clients, partners, and stakeholders. Your day-to-day work will focus on building trust through responsive, respectful communication and by keeping community spaces helpful and well-maintained.

• Support day-to-day community interactions by responding to inquiries and engaging with community members in a professional, timely manner.
• Help maintain a positive, informative online presence across relevant platforms, following community guidelines and brand voice.
• Monitor activity and help track questions, themes, and engagement signals to support continuous community improvement.
• Assist in compiling reports on community activity, including summaries of engagement, common questions, and key outcomes.
• Help organize virtual events, campaigns, or community initiatives to drive awareness and participation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with established processes.
• Escalate issues or sensitive topics appropriately and ensure responses are accurate, clear, and respectful.

Overall, we want this internship to strengthen our community experience while giving you hands-on exposure to community growth, stakeholder engagement, and AI-adjacent digital ecosystems.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience supporting community platforms (e.g., forums, Discord, Slack communities, social channels) or managing engagement workflows.
• Experience drafting community responses, FAQs, or communication templates with a consistent brand voice.
• Basic familiarity with reporting on engagement metrics (e.g., volume of inquiries, response timelines, themes from feedback).
• Comfort helping run or coordinate virtual events, campaigns, or stakeholder communications.
• Interest in learning how community insights can support AI training data operations and partner engagement.
