AI Consultant | AI Platforms & Governance | Bielefeld (Hybrid)

AI Futures has been retained to appoint an AI Consultant for a major German organisation undergoing a large-scale digital and AI transformation. This role will own the vision, roadmap and delivery of enterprise AI platforms, driving the adoption of Microsoft AI technologies, automation solutions and secure AI capabilities across the business.

This is a technically focused Product Owner position, suited to someone who understands modern AI architectures, enterprise data platforms and the practical challenges of deploying AI solutions at scale within a regulated environment.

Hybrid: 1 day/week onsite in Bielefeld

Remuneration: Up to €120k total package

The Role

• Own the product vision, roadmap and delivery of enterprise AI and Digital Innovation platforms across the Microsoft ecosystem
• Define scalable AI platform architecture, security controls and governance frameworks to support enterprise-wide AI deployment
• Collaborate with engineering, security and data teams to build production-ready AI capabilities
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories and prioritised product backlogs
• Lead MVP development, platform lifecycle management and continuous optimisation initiatives
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks and tools to drive innovation and business value
• Ensure AI solutions align with EU AI Act, GDPR and enterprise security requirements

The Candidate

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or a related technical discipline
• Several years' experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager or AI Platform Lead within enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI and enterprise AI deployment strategies
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services or comparable AI platforms
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks and API integrations
• Ability to engage with architects, engineers and business stakeholders at both strategic and technical levels
• Fluent German and English
