You'll be working with a top tier high frequency trading business, putting the guardrails in place that keep trading systems running fast and accurately. It's an opportunity for software engineers with an infrastructure facing focus, or SRE's with strong coding ability in Python to break into one of the most rewarding and technology centric industries.


Responsibilities

  • Using SRE principles to ensure maximum uptime of trading systems, critical to business activity
  • Learn the fundamentals of Trading Systems
  • High code position - rewriting, debugging and building backend code for trading systems
  • Kubernetes cluster ownership
  • Linux based systems design


Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience is the sweet spot. up to 5 years can be considered on a case by case basis
  • Skills with Kubernetes, Linux, Python and Bash
  • Willingness to learn and develop across trading systems and capital markets broadly
  • Engineering degree in computer science or related engineering field
