■What you’ll work on
This is a high-ownership, multi-hat role that combines TPM, senior engineer, and Taipei office operations.
Build next-generation AI interactive experiences:
- Manage our software development team across Taipei and Tokyo while developing AI-driven companion mobile app, content creation platform, and agentic B2B product suites
- Collaborate closely with product planning and operations teams in Tokyo; manage expectations and prioritize incoming requests while maintaining a healthy product backlog and sprint schedules
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment (workshops, sprint planning, retros, stakeholder reviews) and convert outcomes into executable plans
- Own delivery quality for critical releases: test team deliverables, validate edge cases, and sign off on release readiness. Maintain and update automated tests
- Create and maintain clear specs, runbooks, and process docs (release checklists, sprint rituals, onboarding) so work scales across regions
- Design and build scalable, performant, and aesthetically pleasing solutions that provide a top-tier experience to our 2B and 2C users
- Own release readiness: testing coordination, go/no-go, App Store submission, and unblock last-mile delivery issues
- Drive production observability and performance improvements (monitoring, alerting, latency analysis) and turn findings into prioritized work
- Provide around-the-clock immediate support for production issues: rapid triage, troubleshooting, and coordination to restore service and prevent recurrence
- Because we’re a small team, daily hands-on coding and direct contribution to production code are also expected. This is not a pure management function
Own Taipei office operations
- Be accountable for Taipei office performance (delivery, cost, and outcomes) across both Taiwan partner work and Tokyo HQ priorities. Proactively communicate trade-offs when needs conflict
- Define Taipei office policies, communicate them clearly with the team, and align with Tokyo HQ and Taipei stakeholders. Be prepared to justify all policy-related decisions
- Take ownership of hiring, onboarding, and empowering Taipei office members
- Own critical engineering tools and vendor relationships (accounts/access, renewals, cost awareness, and keeping the team unblocked)
- Design and build productivity products that facilitate internal processes and Investor Relations activities
Engage with local partners in Taiwan
- Manage relationship and expectations with our main partner company and stakeholder in Taiwan
- Own enterprise partner enablement: onboarding, admin training, documentation, and ongoing support for partner operators
- Translate partner needs into shipped product: define requirements, prioritize, and deliver enterprise features
- Run partner programs end-to-end: plan and execute workshops/training sessions, including materials, logistics, and follow-up
- Maintain a tight feedback loop: collect partner feedback/FAQs, track unresolved questions, and drive improvements to product, content, and operations
- Support on-site seminars to promote our brand at major universities and organizations in Taiwan
■What we’re looking for
- 🇹🇼 🇺🇸 🇯🇵 Comfortable working in Japanese, Mandarin, and English day-to-day. Can work directly with Tokyo HQ in Japanese (meetings + written docs) without a human translator.
- 10+ years of software development experience with a combination of Javascript / Typescript, Python, and full stack software development
- Experience designing and building scalable, performant, and AI-friendly infrastructure. Need to be infra-literate and know common tradeoffs between different designs
- Experience leading cross-regional, cross-functional teams that speak different languages
- High bar for quality user experience and product polish
- Experience shipping consumer mobile apps (iOS/Android), including release readiness and store review/compliance constraints
- Strong problem-solving in production environments (debugging, performance, observability/monitoring)
- A knack for internal process efficiency through tooling and automation
- Experience building and maintaining test strategy across manual QA and automated E2E (mobile + backend), and keeping releases stable under fast iteration
- Experience supporting enterprise/B2B partners: onboarding, admin enablement, training materials, and ongoing support
- Strong stakeholder management (internal + external): can run meetings, write follow-ups, and drive decisions with imperfect information
- Strong written communication: can write clear specs, decision records, and operational runbooks in English and coordinate Japanese and Mandarin contexts

■您的工作內容
這是一個責任重大、身兼多職的職位,融合了技術專案經理 (TPM)、高級工程師和台北辦公室營運等職責。
建構下一代 AI 互動體驗:
管理我們位於台北和東京的軟體開發團隊,開發 AI 驅動的配套行動應用程式、內容創作平台和智慧 B2B 產品套件
與東京的產品規劃和營運團隊緊密合作;管理預期並確定收到的請求的優先級,同時保持健康的產品待辦事項清單和迭代計劃。
