Currently we are seeking to expand our fast-growing Data Science team and we are looking for a Platform engineer (AWS or Azure) to join us in Sofia.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Cloud governance & lifecycle model to achieve Business goals (Efficiency, reduction of cost, robust, rapid and agile)
• Foster DevOps and Continuous Development working model
• Audit the platform and configurations: CLI, CFT, catalog items, tagging, naming convention, snapshot management (eviction), instances termination, change management including SCM tools, Coding standards, IAM, key management, backup, monitoring
• Responsible for the introduction of new / modified capabilities / services happens in a planned, controlled and timely manner to minimize disruption and maximize benefits
• Provide IT consulting to the stakeholders
• Drive governance, compliance and security: evaluate resources and management of resources, configuration, tagging, change and security

The Successful Candidate Will Be

• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure solutions and management
• 3-5 successful public cloud implementations
• Familiar with IT in general and Cloud technologies specifically (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Public & Private Cloud)
• Capability to easily communicate plans, issues, problems, solutions, Proposals, etc. to team colleagues, management functions or customers
• Ability to define, document, initiate, educate and communicate (new) processes and plans across multiple teams
• Strong service management and CICD experience
• Architecture experience – responsible for influencing design of complex public cloud Infrastructure solutions in view of automated operations
• Analytical, innovative, structured approach to problem solving, including sense for pragmatism, common sense and a self-starter mentality
• Product knowledge for AWS includes
• Familiarity with AWS portfolio (EC2, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue)
• AMAZON CFT
• Ansible
• Jenkins
• GIT / BitBucket
• IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch
• Product knowledge for Azure includes
• Familiarity with Azure portfolio (Azure cloud, HDInsight, BlobStorage)
• Azure container service
• Virtual machines
• Azure active directory
• Jenkins
• Terraform
