About the Role
This is a high-impact, highly visible role focused on helping customers use the platform safely, supporting safer behavior through in-app protections, and ensuring the right safety tools and support are in place for business partners who operate at scale on the platform.
You will work closely with global central teams and local ops managers to bring safety initiatives to life across Mexico & Central America and South America (CASA), identify patterns in the both markets, and turn those insights into practical recommendations. The role also includes reviewing safety cases, checking whether current controls are working as intended, and escalating issues when they are not.
This role will also own the Mexico fleet safety agenda, ensuring that a critical and complex part of the marketplace gets dedicated local attention. In parallel, you will partner closely with central teams and CASA local Safety POCs to review safety tickets, monitor whether controls are working as intended, and flag breakdowns or opportunities for improvement to the right teams.
What You'll Do:
- Help improve how customers use the platform safely and support safer behavior through in-app protections and local actions.
- Support business partners who operate at scale on the platform by ensuring they have the right safety tools and support.
- Review safety cases to understand what happened, identify recurring patterns, and spot where improvements are needed.
- Monitor whether existing safety controls are working as intended, and flag breakdowns, gaps, or unexpected behavior to the right teams.
- Translate ticket patterns, control failures, and market findings into actionable recommendations for process, product, policy, or operational improvements.
- Lead the local rollout of safety initiatives in Mexico and coordinate with local contacts across CASA when regional alignment is needed.
- Use SQL, Python, or equivalent analytical tools to independently explore data, validate hypotheses, and present data-backed proposals that improve safety outcomes and perception.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, product operations, trust & safety, marketplace operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data, tickets, and market findings into clear recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and either Python or equivalent analytical tools; comfort working with dashboards, datasets, and structured analysis.
- Strong cross-functional execution skills, with a track record of driving and implementing projects end to end across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in Spanish and English.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments and bringing structure to messy problems.
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows is a strong plus
