As a Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will work at the intersection of policy, regulatory requirements, and operational reality to ensure our platform remains safe and compliant. This role is about maintaining a high bar for accuracy while navigating the complex systems and data that keep our business moving forward.

What you'll do
- Perform thorough investigations and make actionable recommendations to relevant stakeholders using established guidelines to resolve complex problems.
- Complete data and root cause analysis to provide specific corrective and preventive action items that improve system reliability.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders, turning technical or messy data into clarity during critical moments.
- Identify and share trends, insights, and defects to highlight areas of improvement and pressure points with partners.
- Participate in collaborative discussions to share best practices with partners, agents, and stakeholders to raise the bar for the team.
- Provide deep subject matter knowledge to teammates to unblock tasks and help others adapt to evolving workflows.
- Follow procedures and specific process paths with precision to complete key tasks and maintain high-quality documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in one of the following: compliance, banking, insurance, fraud, consulting, or a regulated area
- Experience with Google Suite/Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills..
- Proven ability in presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional partnership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer basic data analytics, SQL and web query skills.
- Proven ability to solve messy, high-impact problems in fast-changing environments.
- Experience navigating tension and influencing without authority across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Systems thinking mindset with an interest in identifying and escalating issues that impact the community at scale.
- Excellence in active listening and empathetic communication, particularly when dealing with complex or frustrated stakeholders.
