Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

About The Role

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and modernize a large enterprise cloud environment. This role will focus on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud modernization initiatives while partnering with security and infrastructure teams.

This is an infrastructure engineering position focused on cloud platforms and automation not application development or traditional DevOps.

Hybrid work arrangement (remote with on-site as needed)

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Develop and implement cloud modernization strategies.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with security teams to support secure cloud migrations.
• Manage infrastructure configurations using Git.
• Document cloud architecture, deployment standards, and operational procedures.
• Support hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with Ansible and Git.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience with a willingness to transition to Azure.
• Experience developing cloud migration or modernization roadmaps.
• Experience working in enterprise infrastructure environments.
