Responsibilities And Impact
- Design, build, operate, and maintain tools and systems that directly accelerate developer productivity and help engineering teams ship user stories faster
- Lead design decisions and drive innovation through new technology research, prototyping, and evolving applications that improve developer experience
- Collaborate with developers, architects, cloud engineers, support teams, security teams, and stakeholders to solve real development pain points
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools that enable seamless feature delivery across engineering teams
- Be responsive to operational concerns and proactively identify opportunities to streamline developer workflows and reduce friction
- Continuously analyze and evaluate systems, products, and processes to drive measurable improvements in development velocity and quality
- Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools with passion for improving developer experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or Python) with practical development experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS EC2, VPCs, Lambda, API Gateway) and containerization technologies
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation) and AWS Console/CLI/SDK experience
- Strong collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across multiple engineering teams
- Proactive problem-solving approach with focus on identifying and addressing developer pain points
- Self-motivated learner who stays current with development tooling trends and best practices
- DevSecOps expertise with broad technology skills spanning Development, Security, and Operations domains
- Advanced troubleshooting techniques and hands-on experience with cloud platforms and architecture design
- Knowledge of security and performance best practices for cloud architectures and development workflows
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Test Driven Development, and pair programming practices
- Innovative mindset with enthusiasm for researching and prototyping new technologies
- Operational awareness with ability to balance feature delivery with system reliability
- Teaching and mentoring capabilities to help other developers adopt new tools and practices
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining work-life balance
