DevOps Engineer – DV Clearance

About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a growing technical team supporting secure, mission-critical environments. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining modern infrastructure and deployment pipelines while working closely with software engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Configure, manage, and optimise Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Automate deployment and operational processes.
• Support containerised application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes.
• Ensure security is embedded throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Produce and maintain operational documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent commercial experience.
• 3+ years' commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of networking and security principles.
• Strong Git knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
