Working closely with product development teams, the role involves architecting resilient deployment pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and establishing rigorous monitoring and alerting strategies to proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage multi-region cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services
- Orchestrate and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS), including core DNS, ingress controllers, and service meshes
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security scanning, and deployment of microservices
- Implement comprehensive observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Datadog to monitor application health and latency
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation, leading incident response, conducting blameless post-mortems, and writing post-incident reviews
- Develop automation scripts in Python or Go to eliminate manual operational tasks and reduce toil across the organization
- 3–6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles managing production workloads at scale
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform or CloudFormation
- Deep technical understanding of Kubernetes orchestration, container runtimes, and Linux system internals
- Hands-on programming experience in at least one scripting or systems language: Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience configuring production monitoring, logging, and alerting systems like Datadog, Prometheus, or Jaeger
- Bonus: Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd), compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001), or managing multi-cloud deployments (AWS and GCP)
