Junior DevOps Engineer

Contract type/working time: Unlimited

Work experience: min 1 year, max 3 years

We are looking for Junior DevOps Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, availability, and security.
  • Support cloud-based and on-premise environments.
  • Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required

Requirements:

  • Basic Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Basic Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of networking and security principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

  • Ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve DevOps best practices.
