Application Support Engineer

What do you need to do:
- Effectively manage and solve production incidents.
- Follow up and coordinate changes and technical operations (electrical shutdowns, server maintenance, etc.).
- Participate in application and infrastructure change management, collaborating with development, system administrators, DBAs, and networking teams.
- Keep technical documentation up to date, including application architecture, operational procedures, and monitoring requirements.
- Manage backup data and perform regular restore tests to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring SLA compliance across all business lines.
- Control and monitor application load capacity.
- Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to define the infrastructure architecture for new applications according to company standards.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with VTOM or other enterprise scheduling tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience with application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS.
- Experience with databases including Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.
- Experience managing infrastructure backups and recovery processes.
- Experience with monitoring tools, ideally Zabbix or Grafana.
- Knowledge of LDAP, Firewalls, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above (mandatory).
