Platform Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer I - Platform Engineering to take a leading hands-on role in extending Aurigo DevHub. You will design and build new Backstage plugins, harden the platform on AWS EKS, modernize our CI/CD on GitHub Actions, and shape the golden paths that every Aurigo engineer uses to ship.

What you’ll do:

• Build high-impact Backstage plugins (dashboards, AI registry, security, cost visibility)

• Develop DevHub backend (Node.js, APIs, PostgreSQL)

• Create golden paths & templates for rapid microservice delivery

• Own DevHub on AWS EKS (Helm, GitOps, observability, cost)

• Modernize CI/CD using GitHub Actions & Enterprise

• Drive platform reliability, SLOs, and developer productivity metrics

What we’re looking for: • 6+ years in software engineering with platform/DevEx experience

• Strong in Node.js/TypeScript + React + Backstage

• Hands-on with AWS, EKS, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL

• Solid understanding of CI/CD, GitOps & developer tooling

Bonus: Terraform, OpenTelemetry, AI coding assistants (Copilot/Claude)
