Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate AWS-based cloud architectures following best practices for security, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Support and integrate GCP services where required as part of a multi-cloud or hybrid setup
- Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS; GKE is a plus)
- Develop, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform across multiple environments and cloud providers
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve cloud platforms
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards
- Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, CloudWatch)
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, IAM, networking or core services)
- Solid knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Strong expertise in Terraform (modules, state management, best practices)
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud security principles
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- Additional GCP certifications are a plus, but not required
Enterprise & Collaboration Tooling
- Experience with Jira and Confluence in agile enterprise environments
- Familiarity with IT service management processes (incident, change, problem management)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, cloud-native tools)
- Experience working in large-scale, cross-functional organizations
- Proactive, structured, and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ownership mindset for cloud platforms and infrastructure
- Passion for automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement
- Work on enterprise-grade, large-scale cloud platforms
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments with AWS as the primary platform
