Salary: $180-$270K base salary

We are working with a high-growth, product-focused engineering team who are looking to bring in a Platform Engineer to help shape and scale their infrastructure.

This is a genuinely hands-on role with a strong focus on building a platform that enables engineers to ship quickly, safely, and reliably.

The role

You’ll take ownership of key parts of the platform and infrastructure, helping to improve how systems are built, deployed, and operated in a fast-moving environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and scaling cloud infrastructure that supports live production systems
• Owning and evolving a Kubernetes platform, including scaling, networking, and reliability
• Improving deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, safer releases
• Defining and maintaining infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform or similar)
• Enhancing observability across metrics, logs, and alerting

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Solid understanding of Linux, containers, networking, and distributed systems
• Experience building or improving CI/CD pipelin
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to have

• Experience with modern observability tooling
• Exposure to GitOps or advanced CI/CD approaches
• Experience supporting scalable or high-traffic systems
• Interest in performance optimisation or cost management
