Role Summary

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure solutions. The Senior Platform Analyst will optimize Kubernetes environments to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability, supporting the overall engineering objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including resource provisioning and security management.
  • Analyze and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
  • Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes-related issues such as network connectivity, storage, and application failures.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline Kubernetes operations and reduce manual tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure integration and improvements.
  • Monitor cluster performance and implement best practices for resource management.
  • Maintain documentation of architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging Kubernetes and containerization technologies to recommend enhancements.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for Kubernetes environment issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure deployment and automation processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes components including pods, services, deployments, stateful sets, and storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, particularly their Kubernetes services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Publishing Pay Range: $91.00 – $93.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
