- Provide Level 1 (L1) operational support for DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment environments.
- Monitor build pipelines, deployment jobs, and automation workflows to ensure successful execution.
- Perform initial troubleshooting of build failures, deployment issues, and pipeline alerts, escalating unresolved issues to L2/L3 DevOps engineers.
- Monitor application and infrastructure logs to detect errors and performance issues.
- Support CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Assist with code repository management, including access requests, branch monitoring, and repository maintenance.
- Monitor containerized applications and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and report abnormalities.
- Support basic cloud platform monitoring for services running in environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Execute standard DevOps operational procedures including pipeline validation, environment checks, and deployment verification.
- Assist in infrastructure monitoring and alert management using DevOps monitoring tools.
- Maintain and update operational documentation, pipeline runbooks, and incident records.
- Coordinate with development teams, infrastructure teams, and DevOps engineers
- during incident investigation and resolution.
- Maintain monitoring alerts and ensure accurate ticket updates in ITSM platforms.
- Support production, staging, UAT, and development environments to ensure deployment stability.
- Provide 24/7 monitoring and operational support in a shift-based environment via remote or onsite support.
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation workflows.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line operations.
- Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
- Understanding of incident management and escalation processes aligned with ITIL practices.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and DevOps runbooks.
- Strong interest in learning automation, scripting, and cloud technologies.
- Willingness to work in a shifting schedule (day, mid and night shift).
- Amenable to work in a hybrid work setup (Makati).
