About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant with strong expertise in Kubernetes, Jenkins administration, and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and optimize enterprise CI/CD environments running on Kubernetes while supporting development teams in implementing scalable and reliable delivery pipelines.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Jenkins environments, deploying applications in Kubernetes, and working with modern observability and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise CI/CD environments.
- Administer and manage Jenkins instances, including plugins, agents, and system configurations.
- Design, write, and maintain Jenkins Pipelines to support development and release workflows.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and services running in Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor system health, performance, and CI/CD metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues.
- Implement best practices for automation, scalability, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and operations.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is highly preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Solid experience administering open-source Jenkins environments.
- Proven expertise in creating and maintaining Jenkins Pipelines.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Experience with Helm, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience working in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
