Your tasks

• Your primary focus will be on developing and improving the database as a service offering for MongoDB at STACKIT.
• You will work in an international scrum team that develops and administers its own cloud service for MongoDB databases.
• You will develop automation processes to simplify the operation of cloud databases.
• You will stay up to date with the latest features of MongoDB and its respective components such as MongoDB Controllers for Kubernetes.
• You will serve as a reliable point of contact for our internal projects.
• You will act as a 3rd level solution expert for STACKIT MongoDB.

Your profile

• You have experience with DevOps tooling (Gitlab, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Monitoring, Infrastructure-as-a-Code)
• Ideally, you have experience with MongoDB databases.
• Ideally, you have experience in development (Golang) (e.g. to develop REST APIs, write e2e tests to check k8s manifests, ... )
• You have passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to NoSQL databases.
• You possess a high degree of flexibility, initiative, and commitment.
• You enjoy being part of an international team and can communicate effectively in English.
