About The Role

We'rehiring a mid-level DevOps engineer who likes owning real problems end-to-end, from infrastructure design and pipeline architecturethrough toincident response andon-call. You already use AI as part of how you think, build, test, and ship.

You'llkeep the infrastructure that moves money in production resilient and fast, build the multi-region cloud and CI/CD layers Xe's squads run on, and partner with engineering to ship AI-accelerated developer tooling.You'llwork in a small team with direct access to engineering, architecture, and security, own infrastructure in production, and partner with architects and team leads on cross-domain reliability decisions.

Whatyou'lldo

Own CI/CD pipeline reliability and developer experience across squads, including release gating, delivery automation, and rollback safety

Build andoperatemulti-region cloud infrastructure on AWS, including identity (Cognito), networking, and disaster recovery

Partner with engineering and architecture on AI-accelerated SDLC tooling adoption across the org

Own production observability and incident response for shared infrastructure, including on-call rotation

Use agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) daily across the SDLC

Whatwe'relooking for

Must-have

• 3 to 6 years building and operating production infrastructure end-to-end
• Strong experience with AWS in production, including multi-region setups, IAM, networking, and managed services
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling
• CI/CD pipeline ownership (GitHub Actions or equivalent), including release gating and delivery automation
• Container orchestration experience in production
• Experienceoperatinga production observability and monitoring stack, including SLO definition and alerting
• Production incident response experience, including on-call rotation
• Daily use of agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) across the SDLC
• Strong written and verbal communication

Nice-to-have

• Experience with payments, FX, or regulated-industry infrastructure
• Experience with cloud-native identity platforms
• Experience with security and compliance in regulated environments
• Experience with enterprise database resilience (Oracle or equivalent)
• Experience in a globally distributed team with 24/7 ops coverage
