Job Overview
As the Commercial Excellence & Insights Specialist for WEU, you will be supporting the financial and strategic objectives of SAI in the region. You will focus on optimizing revenue generation, enhancing sales performance, and enable sustainable business growth. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Reporting and Insights
Performance Management: Support the regional leadership by tracking core KPIs and identifying areas for improvement.
Support with account planning efforts.
Analyse trends, identify growth opportunities, and spotlight successes to inform strategic decision-making.
Support the sales team in targeting efforts through client segmentation by size and industry.
Manage and enhance process for managing existing tracker business; develop new tools for monitoring competitive win opportunities.
Use insights from lapsed client tracking to inform account-based marketing strategies and deepen penetration across key personas.
Revenue Generation Strategy
Support the annual sales and regional planning process with insights to support revenue generation strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
Identify untapped opportunities at the market-level by analysing successes that can be scaled from other markets.
Analyze trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic initiatives.
Commercial Insights
Assist in developing insight-led stories to help the West European SA&I sales teams engage with prospects and clients.
Help draft insights using SA&I and NielsenIQ data to support marketing content and thought leadership materials.
Assist in preparing and customizing client presentations, ensuring they are engaging and informative.
Maintain and organize sales content, ensuring sales teams have access to relevant materials.
Assist in researching market trends, competitor insights, and industry data to enhance sales strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field
Demonstrated success in roles supporting revenue-generating functions within a matrix organization.
Strong financial acumen to drive insights and inform decisions.
Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and tools.
Good organizational and excellent interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management abilities
Fluent English, both verbal and written
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, PBI
Tech-savvy
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
B2B marketing
Experience with CRM software and sales intelligence tools like Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively
Experience in market research or consulting functions in the FMCG industry
Experience of using NielsenIQ continuous data
