Kubernetes Operations Engineer | Sweden (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Operations Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes operations, cluster administration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting across production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.

• Monitor cluster health using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki, or similar tools.

• Manage Kubernetes networking, storage, RBAC, security policies, and secrets.

• Handle cluster lifecycle activities including upgrades, certificate management, and etcd backup/recovery.

• Deploy and manage applications using Helm and GitOps tools (Argo CD/Flux).

• Support autoscaling, capacity planning, performance optimization, and incident resolution.

• Collaborate with development and platform teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments.

• Maintain operational documentation and participate in on-call support.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes administration experience.

• Strong understanding of Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, RBAC, and Namespaces.

• Experience with AKS, EKS, GKE, or self-managed Kubernetes (kubeadm).

• Expertise in Kubernetes networking, CNI plugins, Ingress Controllers, DNS, and Load Balancing.

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.

• Hands-on experience with Helm and Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management.

• Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).

• Scripting experience using Bash and/or Python.

• Familiarity with container runtimes such as containerd, CRI-O, or Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Argo CD or Flux (GitOps)

• Istio or Linkerd (Service Mesh)

• Falco, Kyverno, OPA/Gatekeeper, Trivy

• OpenShift or Rancher

• Terraform or Ansible

• Kubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKS)

• AWS, Azure, or GCP Kubernetes environments

• ITIL knowledge

Mandatory Requirement

• Swedish Security Clearance Level 2SE (Required)
