We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Operate, maintain, and optimize on-premise cloud and internal project services
- Design and maintain modular IaC with Terraform (planning, status, version control)
- Develop automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible)
- Operate and troubleshoot Ceph Storage
- Be responsible for monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
- Apply security principles (vulnerability analysis, SAST, access control, 2FA, VPN)
- Maintain documentation, best practices, train team members, and support other development teams
- Define and monitor SLIs, be responsible for SLOs, and align SLAs with stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology or similar, or comparable technical vocational training with relevant professional experience in networking, infrastructure, or DevOps
- "Everything as Code" mindset and automation orientation
- Automation with Ansible, Terraform, and Cloud-Init
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts)
- Proficiency in Prometheus and Grafana (metrics, dashboards, alerting pipeline)
- Scripting skills (Bash and Python) and strong knowledge of Linux tools, network technology, and databases
- Experience with Git and CI/CD integration
- Passion for optimizing best practices and modernizing tech stacks
