Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading and rapidly growing Financial Technology & Payment Infrastructure Provider in Indonesia. Our client is seeking a highly skilled, communicative, and theoretically sound Platform Engineer to drive their IT automation projects and production reliability based in Jakarta.
In this role, you will be responsible for building automation frameworks, reducing operational toil, and maintaining high-availability monitoring strategies to ensure zero-downtime across critical transaction infrastructure networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT automation projects with excellent quality, ensuring all deployments follow standard procedures and SRE best practices.
- Drive the development and adoption of automation tools/frameworks to improve efficiency, reduce toil, and influence architectural decisions for better system reliability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to maintain strict uptime SLAs.
- Manage high-availability database performance and message broker architectures to support high-volume, secure financial transactions.
- Stay ahead of technology trends by researching, evaluating, and implementing new tools, including AI and LLM operational tooling.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- At least 4 to 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps, SRE, IT Automation, or Systems Engineer.
- Must possess an active CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification, or be strongly committed to obtaining the certification within the immediate month.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Linux OS, Kubernetes architecture, Docker Swarm, and microservices technologies.
- Proficient in provisioning and managing cloud technologies (AWS and/or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience creating automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Solid familiarity with the following technical ecosystems: ELK Stack, Victoria Metrics, Grafana, Datadog, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Non-Technical: Outstanding communication, structural architecture explanation skills, risk analysis, and the ability to remain calm under emergency response pressure.
