Help Build the Next Generation of Software Infrastructure
District Partners has been engaged by a rapidly growing technology company building advanced software platforms, AI-driven capabilities, and cloud-native solutions that support highly complex, mission-critical environments. As the organization continues to expand its engineering team in the U.S., it is hiring across multiple senior software engineering disciplines. Rather than filling a single position, they're building a world-class engineering organization that will help define how software is developed, tested, deployed, secured, and operated for years to come.
This is an opportunity to join early, work alongside exceptional engineers, and help shape the technical foundation of a company investing heavily in its future.
Why This Opportunity Stands Apart
This isn't a traditional infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps role.
The organization is looking for software engineers with deep infrastructure expertise. Engineers who understand how software moves from concept to production and enjoy building the platforms, tooling, automation, and engineering systems that enable entire development organizations to move faster.
You'll help influence everything from platform architecture and developer experience to cloud infrastructure, software delivery, automation, security, observability, and engineering standards.
If you enjoy solving difficult technical problems, working across multiple phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and building technology that other engineers depend on every day, you'll thrive here.
Multiple Senior Software Engineering Opportunities
The organization is growing across several engineering teams and is seeking exceptional software engineers whose experience aligns with areas such as:
- Platform Engineering
- Infrastructure Software Engineering
- Cloud Engineering
- Developer Tooling & Developer Experience
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- DevOps & Platform Automation
- Software Infrastructure
While each team has a different technical focus, they all share a common philosophy:
- Build software that enables engineers to build better software.
- The strongest candidates are software engineers first, with expertise spanning infrastructure, automation, cloud platforms, and developer productivity.
What You'll Be Owning
Depending on the team, responsibilities may include:
- Designing and building the infrastructure foundation that supports modern software development
- Writing production-quality code to develop internal tooling, automation frameworks, APIs, platform services, and developer utilities
- Building scalable CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and software delivery workflows
- Developing automation that improves engineering productivity and operational efficiency
- Building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies
- Designing and supporting Kubernetes-based platforms that enable secure and scalable application delivery
- Supporting modern DevOps and software delivery workflows
- Improving observability, monitoring, reliability, scalability, and operational maturity
- Working across software engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations to deliver secure, scalable technical solutions
- Helping establish engineering standards, SDLC best practices, platform architecture, and long-term technical direction
What They're Looking For
Successful candidates will typically bring experience across several of the following areas:
- 8+ years of Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines
- Strong software development experience using Python, Go, Rust, Java, or similar modern programming languages
- Experience building internal tooling, automation frameworks, developer platforms, APIs, services, or platform capabilities
- Strong understanding of modern Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Deep hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud environments
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies
- Kubernetes and containerized application platforms
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, testing, and modern software delivery practices
- Ability to operate as both a hands-on engineer and technical leader
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across engineering teams
Experience That Stands Out
Experience in one or more of the following is highly valued:
- Government, defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated environments
- Secure cloud environments and modern security frameworks
- AI infrastructure, machine learning platforms, or MLOps
- Rust or modern systems programming
- Building internal engineering platforms and developer tooling
- Scaling engineering organizations within startup or high-growth environments
- Building processes, tooling, and engineering standards in evolving organizations
Who Will Thrive Here
- The strongest engineers don't think of themselves as infrastructure administrators.
- They're software engineers who happen to have exceptional infrastructure expertise.
- They automate repetitive work instead of accepting manual processes.
- They build platforms that make other engineers more productive.
- They understand software beyond writing code, taking ownership across development, testing, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Most importantly, they enjoy solving problems that don't already have predefined answers and are excited by the opportunity to help build something from the ground up.
