Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux) to integrate our teams into a highly specialised financial services environment, responsible for managing and optimising a globally distributed FX trading infrastructure.

This role focuses on ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical systems, while supporting the evolution towards automation and cloud-based services in a low-latency trading ecosystem.

What you will do:

• Oversee and maintain global trading infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance;
• Collaborate closely with software developers, network engineers, and infrastructure teams to support and enhance trading platforms;
• Provide infrastructure expertise, contributing to system design, optimisation, and performance tuning for low-latency environments;
• Automate infrastructure processes and deployments to improve consistency across distributed systems;
• Support infrastructure lifecycle activities, including provisioning, migrations, and data centre build-outs;
• Research emerging technologies and contribute to the definition of the infrastructure and cloud strategy roadmap.

What you are like:

• Proficient in Linux system administration (RHEL, SLES) within production environments;
• Experienced in performance tuning and optimisation of systems for low-latency applications;
• Knowledgeable in virtualisation and container technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes);
• Comfortable working with scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automation tasks;
• Skilled in managing mission-critical infrastructure and troubleshooting complex production issues;
• Familiar with infrastructure automation and provisioning tools such as Ansible or Puppet (preferred);
• Exposure to Windows systems and NAS administration is a plus;
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
