Work Timing : 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM ( Two Saturday Off)

Reporting To : Manager - Platform Engineering

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / Automation Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in test automation, CI/CD implementation, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Cypress, JavaScript, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes. The role involves designing automated testing frameworks, managing CI/CD pipelines, containerizing applications, and improving software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery.
• Automate build, deployment, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Manage and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation and configuration management tools.
• Deploy, configure, and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and stability.
• Configure logging, alerting, and observability solutions for proactive system monitoring.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and access control across infrastructure environments.
• Troubleshoot production, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues effectively.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement incident resolution measures.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and overall infrastructure availability.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams for seamless delivery operations.
• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of Version Control Systems including Git, GitLab, and GitHub.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Exposure to container orchestration tools including Kubernetes and Helm.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as OpenStack.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting using Shell/Bash scripting.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and Firewall management.
• Experience in configuring and managing web servers such as NGINX and Apache.
• Exposure to system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster management processes.
• Strong Linux System Administration and server management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Cypress automation framework and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and security scanning tools.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to OpenStack environments.
• Cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
