Internal Developer Platform Engineer at BairesDev

As an Internal Developer Platform Engineer, you will design and build self-service platforms that streamline the software development lifecycle. You will focus on creating a unified portal for engineering teams, reducing cognitive load by providing standardized tools and automated infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain a centralized developer portal to improve service discovery and documentation.
• Create automated service templates and scaffolding to accelerate the onboarding of new microservices.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to standardize deployment processes across the organization.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads and manage platform components within Kubernetes environments.
• Partner with development teams to identify friction points and enhance the overall developer experience.
• Develop custom plugins and integrations to extend the capabilities of the internal platform.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building internal developer platforms and portals using tools like Backstage or Cortex.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD platform design.
• Proficiency in programming with Go or Python for developing service templates and automation.
• Strong background in improving developer experience and self-service scaffolding.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
