As a Solutions & Deployment Engineer, you are responsible for the full journey of our customers – from drafting the first technical concept to configuring, testing and deploying the software. You ensure that the driveblocks software meets the application requirements in an embedded, real time-critical environment. You ensure high performance and quality through system simulations and software component testing on-site under real-world conditions across multiple domains and countries.
Your Background
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to quickly understand customer requirements, debug application software, and familiarize with new vehicle and deployment platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or real-time embedded systems, with strong coding skills in C and C++.
- Experience with dockerized deployments and Linux-based operating systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with complex technical challenges and requirements.
- Strong team-player and the ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and straight-forward way to match customer and project expectations.
- Willingness to travel on short notice to support customer pilots and deployments across domains and countries.
- Strong system-level thinking and ability to execute feature development in a fast-paced environment
- Valid German driver's license class B.
- Familiarity with ROS2 or micro-ROS.
- Familiarity with different embedded compute units including edge accelerators.
- Experience with modern software engineering tools, including version control, continuous integration and testing as well as cloud-based development processes.
- Degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or related (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
