The role - Azure DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be setting up and managing infrastructure and CI/CD for data engineering and AI projects with Microsoft technologies. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the setup and management of Azure infrastructure for data/AI projects
  • Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and security
  • Work with teams to improve deployments and automate release flows.

Your profile

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
  • More than 4 years of professional experience in designing and implementing Azure infrastructure for data engineering and artificial intelligence projects
  • Familiarity with Azure services relevant to data engineering and AI, including Azure App Service
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on work with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep templates
  • Foundational knowledge of scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
