Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Financial Services team working with Google Cloud Platform. In this role, you will lead a team of System Engineers and DevOps professionals while advising on cloud migration strategies and serving as a key technical point of contact across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of System Engineers and DevOps professionals
• Overview and advise on the migration path for given applications
• Act as main point of contact for other architects and engineers
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Work with Google Kubernetes Engine for container orchestration
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Configure Anthos Service Mesh and Istio
• Define and maintain networking firewall rules
• Create and manage Helm charts for application deployment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or System Engineering roles
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration, GitHub Actions and Shell scripting
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine and Terraform
• Skills in Anthos Service Mesh, Istio and Helm charts
• Knowledge of networking and firewall rules configuration
• Background in software development and/or architecture
• Experience in re-architecting applications for cloud and containerization
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good business acumen
• English level B2+

Salary range €3.8K-€5.7K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
