- Are you a passionate DevOps Engineer with a leadership drive? We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer Manager to join our IT team and champion a culture of collaboration and automation!
- You will play a key role in optimising our software development lifecycle by implementing and managing DevOps practices.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, fostering seamless integration of DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of applications.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, managing infrastructure using configuration management tools for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues through the setup and maintenance of monitoring and logging systems.
- Integrate security best practices throughout the development and deployment processes, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage applications, optimise costs, and utilise cloud-native services.
- Manage and support version control systems (e.g., Git), ensuring proper branching and merging strategies.
- Utilise collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack) to enhance communication and collaboration within the development and operations teams.
- Write scripts and code as necessary to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- Facilitate release planning, coordinate releases, and ensure a smooth transition from development to production.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure infrastructure can scale and meet evolving business demands.
- A proven DevOps Engineer, Developer, or a related role with leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Ruby).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI).
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of security best practices and principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Remote work setup: 3 days remote, 2 days in the office
